The Ahwatukee Foothills is an area of great desert beauty and our house sits on the edge of one of the foothills. The view from the back patio is a 30 foot high cliff that leads up to hill behind the house that is covered in saguaro and barrel cacti. In springtime the hill will be covered in desert flowers.
