Our house is located on a quiet street with lots of privacy. The house is next to one of the foothills in the area and backs up to a cliff. There is a completely furnished kitchen with tableware, cooking utensils, and standard appliances from a microwave to electric range. All you really need to bring is food, personal items and toiletries.

The Foothills Golf Club is just a short walk from our house. Grocery shopping, restaurants, urgent care, and a city library are close by. South Mountain Park hiking trails are a short drive away and there are many walking paths in the area. There are also, for those feeling lucky, two casinos and a major outlet store mall - just minutes away. There is free public transit circulating the Ahwatukee area and a public transit park and ride lot nearby that serves the Phoenix metro area.

The Ahwatukee Foothills is an area of great beauty and our house sits on the edge of one of the foothills. The view from the back patio is a cliff that leads up to hill behind the house that is covered in saguaros and barrel cactus's. In springtime the hill will be covered in desert flowers.
